Sinda replied to the topic Re: What is your current set up? in the forums.Yea. My first board ever was an 8.25 blank that I picked up because I thought it would be cool to give it a custom paint job....and it was pretty cool, but so hard for me to skate. I thought I just really really sucked for a while until I tried a smaller board...and then I found out I only moderately sucked. haha

Sinda replied to the topic Re: ESPN Gender Gap Article in the forums. It's unfortunate, but gender gaps don't just exist in sports, they're everywhere in the professional world. But times are changing and women everywhere are becoming more involved. I'm sure one day that gap won't exist. As far as skating goes though, getting sponsored and all that jazz might be more difficult for women, but who really skates just for that? I think as long as girls are out there shredding because that's what they love to do, the rest will eventually follow.
